Monticello is located in Jefferson County. To the west is Leon County and Tallahassee. Madison County and Perry are directly east of Jefferson County. The Jefferson County Courthouse is located at the center of the downtown area of Monticello close to many of the Festival Events.

From Tallahassee (Interstate 10): Travel East to Exit 209B .... continue East on US 90 to Monticello for about 18 miles. The Jefferson County Courthouse is at the intersection of US 90 and US 19.

From Thomasville, Ga. (and points North): Take US 19 (Florida-Georgia Parkway) South for about 20 miles. The Jefferson County Courthouse is at the intersection of US 90 and US 19.

From Jacksonville (and I-10): Exit Interstate 10 at Exit #225; take US 19 (Florida-Georgia Parkway) North to Monticello for about 5 miles. The Jefferson County Courthouse is at the intersection of US 90 and US 19.

From South Florida (Traveling US 27): Take US 19 (Florida-Georgia Parkway) to Monticello. The Jefferson County Courthouse is at the intersection of US 90 and US 19.
