2/09/10 - In honor of the Festival's 60th Anniversary, the theme this year is "Sensational Sixties".

3/05/10 - Caitlin Harrison, a Monticello resident who has served as the Monticello Watermelon Queen for the past two years, 17, was crowned Miss Teen Tallahassee USA on February 28, 2010. Caitlin will advance to the Miss Florida Teen USA pageant in October, where the winner will represent the state at the nationally televised Miss Teen USA pageant.

4/08/10 - Nan Baughman, President of the Chamber of Commerce has been selected as the Grand Marshal of the Parade.
